The September Sale included a Collectors’ Sale which included a medal group awarded to W. Suffield, Leading Seaman, R.N., comprising a rare Antarctic Medal which fetched £3200 (Lot396), an interesting collection of Hampshire Regiment helmet plates, cap badges and shoulder titles fetched £1850 (lot 420). A rare Meccano No.6 Set with original box and cabinet fetched £920 (Lot 389), a large quantity of early pennies and other British coinage together with a collection of Confederate Dollars fetched £820 (Lot426), an 18th Century cordial glass fetched £820 (Lot 67), an unusual collection of detailed drawings and blueprints of radiators relating to Morris, Alvis, Aston Martin and others fetched £580 (Lot 123) and an interesting 19th Century Continental copy of a Colt pocket percussion revolver fetched £560 (Lot 397).
