Highlights of the November sale included a George III mahogany hump-back settee which made £3600 (lot 948) and James Ward RA PORTRAITS OF CELEBRATED HORSES, a set of sixteen black and white lithographs sold for £3400 (lot 494). Within the specialist Silver and Jewellery Section was a Chinese export silver tea service which realised £2700 (lot 44), a large canteen of King’s pattern silver made £2400 (lot 154), a pair of early George III silver candlesticks by Ebenezer Coker made £1700 (lot 138), a George V silver canteen of cutlery fetched £1400 (lot 139).

Other highlights included a Regency mahogany and brass inlaid dome shaped mantel clock which sold for £1250 (lot 672), a Rolex gentleman’s wristwatch made £1200 (lot 868), a George IV silver pedestal tea pot brought £1150 (lot 152), a sapphire diamond and enamel decorated brooch made £900 (lot 240) and a 9ct gold suite of jewellery fetched £850 (lot 333).
