396         A Medal Group Awarded to 226514, W.Suffield, L.S.,R.N. (William), comprising a rare Antarctic medal mounted bronze 1921-1939, (lacking white ribbon) and a World War I trio, together with a large collection of related photographs of the Antarctic, also an Italia medal dated 1908 and an Egypt medal awarded to J Garside of HMS Orontes   £1200 - 1500

    397     An Interesting 19th Century Continental Copy of a Colt 1849 Pocket Percussion Revolver, the 4" octagonal barrel stamped 'American Colt Extra', silver plated overall, the left side of the frame stamped 'Cal.38', ivory two piece grips with large white metal diamond inlays, complete in French style scarlet leather lined mahogany case and with brass bullet mould, cleaning rod and zinc shell pattern powder flask  £600 - 800

    405     A Late 19th Century 'Three Bar' Pattern Army Officers Sword, 35.5" slightly curved single edged blade with makers mark of Henry Wilkinson, the blade numbered 25444, complete in plated steel scabbard, together with a Victorian bayonet (a/f)  £70 - 90

    411     In Relation to the Falklands War, a telex message from Major General Sir Jeremy Moore announcing the surrender of the Argentine Armed Forces in East and West Falkland, by Major General Menendes in June 1982, which was sent to Royal Marine Jonathan Needham who served as a radio operator during the Falklands War.  The telex reads as follows 'In Port Stanley at 9 o'clock pm Falkland Island's time tonight the 14th June 1982 Major General Menendes surrendered to me all the Argentine  Armed Forces in East and West Falkland, together with their impedimenta.  Arrangements are in hand to assemble the men for return to Argentina, to gather in their arms and equipment and to mark and make safe their munitions. The Falkland Islands are once more under the government desired'  £300 - 500
