Highlights of the March collectors’ sale included a 19th Century Tunbridge large sarcophagus shaped tea caddy which fetched £2100 (lot 272), a Rolex Oyster Datejust chronometer gentleman’s wristwatch which made £1900 (lot 214), a stylised silver and silver gilt goblet by Omar Ramsden fetched £1800 (lot 230), a Breitling Jupiter Pilot stainless steel gentleman’s wristwatch sold for £750 (lot 212), a 19th Century Chinese hard stone pendant, together with a set of hard stone beads, once again for the Chinese market, realised £740 (lot 263). Other highlights included a 19th Century Florentine School after van Dyke head and shoulder portrait pair of oils which fetched £880 (lot 96), a pair of 14ct white gold diamond ear studs, approx 1ct, made £750 (Lot 177), a George I walnut chest realised £700 (lot 516), a small brass compass/sundial by Butterfields, Paris, made £600 (lot 360), a William IV rosewood side cabinet sold for £600 (lot 574) and a tested 18ct gold linked bracelet, 29.6g, made £540 (lot 197).
