The sale began with the Ceramic section with highlights to include a pair of lidded 19th Century Vienna globular vases fetching £500 (lot 153), a Royal Worcester model of Napoleon Bonaparte upon horseback, fetching £600 (lot 158) and a Chinese Nanking oval blue and white small tureen and cover fetching £250 (lot 173). The highlights of the Pictures section included James Walter Gozzard, a pair of oil paintings, fetching £500 (lot 188), a collection of lithographs after Salvador Dali fetching in excess of £1500 (lots 198-208) and a set of twenty three Beatrix Potter books fetching £100 (lot 243). The Works of Art section included a pair of 19th Century ormolu table lamps fetching £380 (lot 359), a 19th Century polar bear skin fetching £800 (lot 380), a pair of 18th Century small oval silkwork pictures fetching £250 (lot 384). The Clocks and Barometers included a 19th Century gothic revival patinated bronze timepiece fetching £560 (lot 410), an unusual Maple & Co wall clock fetching £460 (lot 411), a 19th Century French boulle mantel clock fetching £480 (lot 409) and a George III mahogany automaton longcase fetching £1200 (lot 416).The Rugs included a very long early North West Persian runner fetching £200 (lot 430) and an early antique Bokhara carpet fetching £180 (lot 426).
