The highlights of the Furniture section of the December sale included a George I walnut and feather crossbanded chest on chest (Lot 497) which fetched £2100, a Victorian burr walnut credenza cabinet (Lot 519) which brought £1550, a George III oak dresser (Lot 492) made £1000, a George III mahogany linen press (Lot 533) made £640, and the hammer came down at £580 for a George III mahogany chest on chest (Lot 568).

In the Silver and Jewellery section a platinum two stone diamond crossover ring (Lot 121) fetched £1250, an 18ct.gold diamond, ruby and pearl set fringe necklace (Lot 120) sold for £1150, a yellow gold dress ring of approximately 6cts (Lot 187) attracted £1100.

Other highlights of the sale included an Asprey and Garrard large brass cased carriage clock (Lot 401) which made £900, a George III oak Longcase clock (Lot 408) fetched £800, a Victoria India General Service Medal clasp for Persia (Lot 372) made £750 and a scarce Colt pocket percussion pistol of Navy calibre (Lot 395) made £600.
