The Highlights of the April Sale were to include a George III Mahogany Bureau of small proportions which fetched £2000 (lot 528), a very interesting 18th Century Pocket Globe and with outer shark skin case, dated 1783 that made £1900 (lot 345), an unusual Birmingham silver and cut glass hunting set which reached £1800 (lot 164), a terracotta model of a maiden by J Gott that fetched £1650 (lot 269), and an early oriental natural and a red stained ivory chess set within a mahogany box which made £1550 (lot 270).

Hugh Bellingham Smith, Bembridge Ferry, an oil on board fetched £850 (lot 137), a Venetian green glass and overlay garniture reached £650 (lot 85), a late 17th early 18th Century elm and oak refectory table, made £600 (lot 598) and a brass mounted Boulle side cabinet also made £600 (lot 548)
